Delaware lawmakers have confirmed Saundra Ross Johnson to lead the state’s new Human Resources Department.
Johnson has served as acting secretary since July.
Gov. John Carney created the agency last year to address racism allegations in state agencies. Delaware has operated without a dedicated HR agency since the state Personnel Office was split up more than a decade ago.
