As part of our 2020 Election coverage, Delaware Public Media is once again offering a series of Candidate Conversations.
We reached out to all candidates filed to run in the races for U.S. House and U.S. Senate, as well as Governor, Lt. Governor and Insurance Commissioner and invited them to sit down with us.
Candidates in each race are being asked about the same set of topics to allow you to get to know them and compare them.
The race for U.S. House features 4 candidates challenging the incumbent, Democrat Lisa Blunt Rochester.
On this edition of The Green, we feature the two Republicans in the race, Matthew Morris and Lee Murphy.
Morris is running for statewide public office for the first time.
Murphy is making his second bid for U.S. House. He ran for the state’s lone House seat in 2018, but was narrowly upset by Scott Walker. He also unsuccessfully for New Castle County Council in 1984 and State Senate in 2000 and 2002.
And our Delaware primary “Races to Watch” series examines a key state House race in the Middletown area.
Incumbent State Rep. Quinn Johnson is not running again in the 8th District and Delaware Public Media’s Roman Battaglia introduces us to the three Democrats hoping to fill that seat.
