Three nurses based in Lewes won $100,000 through Powerball this month.
Michael Spinazzola, Donna Chunn and Loretta Edwards, nurses at Harbor Healthcare, purchased their winning ticket at a 7-Eleven in Rehoboth Beach.
According to the Delaware Lottery, they began playing as a group in December. Spinazzola regularly purchases lottery tickets and typically buys eight at the start of each month.
The three claimed their winnings at Lottery Headquarters in Dover last Wednesday and split the money evenly. Two of them plan on banking their prize.
