Gas prices tick down again in Delaware

Delaware Public Media

First State motorists enjoyed another dip in gas prices last week.

AAA Mid-Atlantic reports the average price for a gallon of regular fell three cents over the past seven days – from $2.23 to  $2.20.

The five-cent drop over the past two weeks leaves the price 55 cents below the $2.75 Delaware drivers were paying a year ago.

According to Delawaregasprices.com, a dozen stations around the state are offering a gallon of gas at $2.10 or less - many in the Newark area.

The national average also fell last week, down four cents from $2.38 to $2.34.
