Delaware motorists continue to see prices fall at the gas pump this month.
AAA Mid-Atlantic reports the average price for a gallon of regular in the Delaware dropped two cents over the past seven days – from $3.59 to $3.57. It’s down 11 cents over the last three weeks.
That’s still more than Delawareans were paying a year ago at this time when the average price per gallon for regular was $3.48.
But the price in Delaware remains below the national average, which held at $3.65 last week.
AAA expects prices to continue their retreat in the week leading up to the Memorial day holiday weekend.
Delawaregasprices.com reports nine stations selling a gallon of regular for $3.47 or less Sunday.
