AstraZeneca reportedly has buyer for part of its North Wilmington complex

AstraZeneca is reportedly poised to sell a piece of its North Wilmington campus.

The Philadelphia Business Journal says JP Morgan Chase is buying the south portion of the office complex for $42 million.

AstraZeneca put the 58-acre property up for sale on the market last October after it cut 1,200 jobs at its Wilmington headquarters and another 2,300 worldwide nearly a year ago.

The deal includes two buildings total nearly 358,000 square feet on 58 acres, complete with a dining hall, hair salon and fitness center. The buildings were built in 2002.

About 2,200 parking spots and tennis and basketball courts are also part of the complex.
