Delaware’s Department of Justice says the former headmaster at the Tower Hill School has turned himself in to face child pornography charges
Christopher Wheeler is in custody after arranging to surrender to authorities at Delaware State Police Troop 2 today according to the Attorney General’s office.
Wheeler face 25 charges of dealing in child pornography as part of a Child Predator Task Force investigation.
The charges come after Wheeler’s home and office were searched by police October 22nd.
The Department of Justice says that search turned up multiple images of child pornography on computers and other digital media that were seized.
Wheeler stepped down as headmaster after the search.
Wheeler was arraigned following his arrest and was taken to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $1.5 million cash bail. The investigation is still ongoing.
