Widow of New Castle County Courthouse shooter ordered held until trial

The widow of New Castle County Courthouse shooter Thomas Matusiewicz will remain behind bars until her trial on federal cyber-stalking charges.

Lenore Matusiewicz pleaded not guilty to all charges against her Wednesday and waived her right to a detention hearing.

The charges against Lenore Matusiewicz are in connection the February shooting in which her husband Thomas allegedly fatally shot their son David’s ex-wife, Christine Belford, and her friend Laura Mulford at the New County County Courthouse before killing himself.

David is also in jail facing interstate cyber stalking charges, along Lenore Matusiewicz’s daughter Amy Gonzalez.

A judge already ruled David be held until trial as a flight risk. Gonzalez has a detention hearing scheduled for tomorrow in Wilmington.

All charged face possible life sentences and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines if found guilty.
