There are three tickets with the winning numbers in last night’s $448 million Powerball drawing, but none were sold in the First State.
Two of the tickets with that matched the numbers picked last night - 5-25-30-58-59 with Powerball 32 – were sold in New Jersey at stores in Little Egg Harbor and South Bunswick. The other was sold in Minnesota.
The $448 million those winners will split is the fourth largest ever in Powerball history. The largest was a $590.5 million dollar Powerball jackpot won by 84-year old Florida woman in May.
Delaware’s has had two overall jackpot winners in the last year. The anonymous First State winner split a $50 million prize with winners in Tampa and New Orleans in May. Last October, a Wilmington couple also won $50 million dollars, but did not have to split that jackpot. They also chose to remain anonymous.
