DNREC’s Division of Parks and Recreation says the 2018 fee season gets underway March 1.
Vehicles registered in Delaware will be charged $4 for inland parks and $5 for ocean parks starting next month. Out of state cars will be charged $8 and $10 respectively.
A seasonal pass costs Delawareans $35.
DNREC officials say the funds go toward maintaining the sixteen state parks and the more than 2,600 acres of state parks land. Entrance and other fees cover about 65% of the cost of operating the parks.
Fee season runs through November 30th.
