The band revealed the news on Facebook and Twitter Saturday morning, along with the news that they will be playing the famed South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.

Firefly officials were not available to confirm Mean Lady’s appearance at the four day festival beginning June 19th.

The duo of Katie Dill and Sam Nobles' R&B influenced, synth-backed indie pop is a perfect fit for the annual Dover music fest, which bills itself as the East Coast’s premiere music experience.

Firefly will officially announce their full 2014 lineup within the coming weeks. It’s the festival's third year in the First State.

Last year, The Spinto Band was the only Delaware band to perform at Firefly.

Mean Lady’s performed several songs off their 2013 record Love Now during a visit to our studios just before the album's release last June. You can see those performances here.
