The state’s efforts to crackdown on drunk driving will focus on New Castle County this week.
Checkpoint Strikeforce will have a DUI checkpoint in Wilmington Friday night.
The campaign made five DUI arrests at its most recent checkpoint in New Castle. Statewide, there have been over 3,000 DUI arrests made in Delaware this year.
Checkpoint Strikeforce is a six month long effort running through New Year’s Eve that involves setting up weekly DUI checkpoints thoughout the First State.
