Delaware drivers may be able to avoid long lines at the DMV – at least for some tasks.
Delaware’s Division of Motor Vehicles announced Monday it’s making several of its services available at the I-95 toll plaza office in Newark and its Route 1 toll plaza offices at Dover and Biddle’s Corner.
The toll plazas will handle a limited numbers of basic services - including address changes, registration renewals, and issuing or updating handicap placards.
The plazas will offer longer hours than DMV offices. They will be open from 7 am and 9 pm, seven days a week.
