The 2012 Republican Convention concludes with Mitt Romney center stage tonight in Tampa - accepting his party’s nomination for President.
Romney’s moment comes on the heels last night’s speech by his running mate -GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan.

Delaware Republican Party chairman John Sigler said Ryan “hit it out of the park” with his speech – but is not concerned that the number two man on the ticket set the bar too high for Gov. Romney tonight.
"I have no doubt that what you saw last night is just the beginning. The two of them together, Romney and Ryan, they energize each other, they challenge each other and they compliment each other, and they will do the same not only on the campiagn trail, but when they govern," said Sigler in an interview from the GOP Convention in Tampa.
Sigler admits he was not originally a Romney supporter, but says this week has shown he and the Republican base are now firmly behind the nominee. Sigler says that leaves Gov. Romney to reach out to voters beyond the party base tonight...
"He understands he is on the national stage and will be speaking to the American people tonight. This is the night the American people will see Mitt Romney for the person that the rest of od insider the party have come to know, respect and like," said Sigler.
Sigler adds the party will leave Tampa united, energized and ready for the general election campaign.
He expects a post-convention bump for the Romney/Ryan ticket, though realizes it is likely the Democratic Convention next week in Charlotte will cut into any bump it receives.
