Just a week after the University of Delaware said goodbye to its Class of 2011 at commencement, nearly 3,000 UD alums returned to Newark for the school's annual "Alumni Weekend". As part of the weekend activities, school president Patrick Harker delivered his "State of the University" address Saturday afternoon at Mitchell Hall.
DFM News' Tom Byrne sat down with Harker in advance of his "State of the University" remarks to reflect on the 2010-2011 academic year and discuss some the key issues facing the school as it prepares to welcome its Class of 2015 this fall.
