Michael Sigman

Michael Sigman is a trainer, coach, consultant and speaker specializing in leadership development. Clients seek his expertise in Media Interview Techniques, Public Speaking Skills, Speech Preparation, Meeting Facilitation, Negotiation, Sales Team Development, Problem Solving, and Critical Thinking. In addition to his knowledge of Behavioral Sciences and its tools for leadership communication, Michael brings 36 years of experience – 20 of them with CommCore – to his workshops and coaching sessions. He works with C-Suite and senior executives, celebrity spokespeople, and subject matter experts.  
 
Michael’s Leadership Development assignments include programs for the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Institute (working with U.S. Ambassadors and embassy staff), Chrysler Emerging Leaders, Social Security Administration, Government Accountability Office (GAO), and the American Bar Association Bar Leadership Institute, among others. For members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Michael has coached more than 1,800 CPA leaders in almost every state over the past 15 years. He counseled that organization’s entire leadership team and the 15 most recent board chairs.  Michael’s expertise in the healthcare sector is vast, with ongoing assignments for pharmaceutical and biotech clients Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, Pfizer, and Merck, where he is conducting on-going executive coaching engagements. 
Michael’s other corporate clients include PepsiCo, Verizon, General Motors, New York Life, Facebook, Texas Instruments, Toyota, Ricoh, and Wakefern, to name a few. He coached the CEO, Vice Chair, and numerous executives at Samsung in Seoul, Korea, and in eight countries on four continents. In fact, Michael has coached clients in 49 U.S. states and is hoping to add the 50th state this year. 
After receiving his B.A. from Temple University, Michael’s broadcast journalism career began in Philadelphia as a news planner for WCAU-TV.  He was an all-news radio anchor and PBS affiliate television news producer before anchoring Delaware’s First State News where he garnered half a dozen Emmy Award nominations during his tenure as News Director.  He was also the prime-time evening news anchor for TSM News, a regional news operation in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.  
Michael is married with grown children. When not traveling, he counsels a number of not-for-profit agencies and serves on several boards and committees.  Michael taught at a Kenpo Karate Studio where he is a 2nd degree black belt.
