She has more than 40 years of experience in public, investor, and constituent relations in the corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors.

Her background also includes management positions in nonprofit economic development and arts organizations, including Wilmington 2000 and the Delaware Symphony Orchestra.

Ellen is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Delaware Forum of Executive Women. She is past president of the Delaware Theatre Company, the Association for the Rights of Citizens with Mental Retardation (The ARC of Delaware), and Wilmington Women in Business. She sings with Market Street Music’s Mastersingers of Wilmington and Center City Chorale, and she is a member of the chancel choir at First & Central Presbyterian Church, where she is an ordained elder. She resides in Wilmington’s Trolley Square neighborhood.
