Organizers of Firefly Festival in Dover gave music fans a peek at how this year’s schedule will play out this June.
A list showing what day bands coming to the four-day event on the grounds of Dover International Speedway will play was released Tuesday.
Local Natives will close out the festival’s first day – Thursday June 19th. Foo Fighters are the Friday headliner, capping a day that will also feature Arctic Monkeys. Outkast and Imagine Dragons top Saturday’s line-up. And the final day Sunday features Beck, the Lumineers and headliner Jack Johnson.
There’s no indication when the two local bands playing Firefly, Mean Lady and New Sweden, will be on stage during the weekend.
Officials say they expect to draw in the neighborhood of 85,000 music fans to the First State to see over 100 bands on seven stages June 19th to the 22nd.
Organizers also announced they’ve added Broken Bells and Big Gigantic to this year’s Firefly roster.
