Elena Delle Donne’s first appearance in a WNBA All-Star game will apparently have to wait.
The former University of Delaware star suffered a concussion Wednesday as her Chicago Sky lost to Washington Mystics 82-78 in Washington D.C. She is expected to miss 4-to-5 days and that would mean sitting out Saturday’s all-start contest.
Delle Donne made history last week by becoming to the first rookie ever to top the WNBA’s all-star vote.
Delle Donne suffered the concussion going after a loose ball in the third quarter of the loss to Washington.
She’s currently third in the league in scoring with 18.6 points per game.
