The Blue Rocks drew even with Fayetteville in the Mills Cup Carolina League Championship Wednesday night.
The Rocks rallied to beat the Woodpeckers 5-4 in Game 2 at Frawley Stadium, tying the best of five series at one win apiece.
Wilmington scored 3 runs in the 7th inning to turn a 4-2 deficit into the one run victory.
The two teams now head to Fayetteville for the remainder of the series.
Game 3 is Thursday night at 6 pm.
