Price at the pump in Delaware plummets again

It’s another steep drop for the price of gas in the First State this week.

AAA Mid-Atlantic officials report the average prices for a gallon of regular lost seven cents over the past seven days, standing at $2.08 Sunday.

Divers were paying $2.83 a gallon at this same time last year.

Those savings were also seen nationwide. Prices dipped by nearly ten cents, also closing the week at $2.08.

Prices at the pump in Delaware are cheaper than Maryland and Pennsylvania, which average $2.11 and $2.30 respectively. Those in South Jersey will pay less at $1.91

Crude oil prices fell significantly again this week, shedding 34 cents to settle at $40.39 a barrel.

AAA officials say the high supply and low demand are depressing average retail prices, meaning drivers are likely to see the lowest fuel costs over Thanksgiving since 2008.
