If you are hoping to get to the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade Thursday and plan to take the train from Wilmington, you may need another option.
There will only be three SEPTA regional rail line trains heading from Wilmington to Philly Thursday morning. They’ll run between 6:40 and 9:23 a.m. and will only stop in Wilmington, Marcus Hook and Ridley Park.
Those three trains can only carry a total of 2,790 hundred passengers according to DART. Day passes will be needed to ride and those passes are expected to sell out Wednesday.
Return SEPTA trains from Philadelphia to Ridley Park, Marcus Hook and Wilmington will be available from 2 to 9 pm.
There will be no SEPTA train service to or from Newark, Churchmans Crossing or Claymont tomorrow. Information on bus route alternatives for those stops is available at DART's website.
