Delaware announced one more coronavirus-related death and 145 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.

While paramedics work hard on the frontlines dealing with COVID-19 patients as well as other emergencies, they need some help from the public.

One major problem paramedic units responding to emergencies have been dealing with is people not revealing if they’ve been tested for the COVID-19 virus, or have tested positive for the virus.

As of Monday, child care providers in Delaware can only serve children of essential employees who cannot work from home, under the Governor’s State of Emergency order. Some are finding the transition difficult.

The state has selected some sites it will use to treat patients in the event of an overflow at Delaware’s hospitals due to the coronavirus.

More amenities are being shut down at New Castle County parks because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Because of the lack of social distancing at some parks, the county announced the closing of fenced in dog parks, skate parks and restrooms and the removal of port-o-johns in parks.
