They head to the polls Tuesday to vote on a tax referendum that would bolster the district’s operating budget.

A number of school districts have held tax referendums this year, with varying results. Next up is the Christina School District, which puts its ask for more operating budget funding before voters April 30th.

It’s a crucial vote for the district, which is in the midst of working with the state to reorganize its Wilmington schools in an effort to improve student outcomes there

Voters in the Indian River School District rejected both pieces of a tax referendum Tuesday.

Newark residents and non-resident property owners will vote Tuesday on whether the city borrows nearly $28 million.

The bond debt would pay for improvements to the city’s sewer and water systems, a park, and a stormwater facility on a former University of Delaware dorm site—as well as several smaller projects.
