Hagley Museum and Library

The Hagley Museum and Library has acquired the Frank E. Schoonover Negatives Collection from the Delaware Art Museum.

The Schoonover Collection documents the life and work of the noted artist and illustrator who was part of the golden age of magazine illustration between 1890 to 1940.

Historic Odessa Foundation

A tea caddy collection built over two generations and spanning the period from 1700 to the present day, is now on display at the Historic Houses of Odessa.


Marnie Bramble of Chestertown, Maryland started the collection, which includes over 400 pieces, more than a half century ago and got her youngest son Mark hooked on her hobby.

The caddies made from silver, porcelain, pewter, creamware, pearlware, paper mache, tortoise shell, ivory and fine woods.

Creative District Wilmington’s “Rock Lot” kicked off its first full season of programming last night with dancing monks and a drum circle.

The West Center City pocket park was filled with music by the visiting Dancing Monks of Assam, a circle of amateur drummers and a crowd of jubilant onlookers.

Hagley Museum and Library explores Lamarr's fascinating life Thursday during a free screening of the film “Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story.”
