Wesley College, Delaware Tech respond to COVID-19 outbreak

Wesley College is the latest First State college to halt classroom teaching in response to the new coronavirus outbreak

Wesley told its campus community Friday it is moving all classes online starting Monday.

The school also encouraged students to move home over the next few days.  But residence halls and dining facilities remain open and students can stay on campus if notify the school before Monday.

Campus offices remain open, but all campus activities, including sports, have been cancelled or postponed.

Wesley officials say they expect to make a decision whether or not to return to normal operations by April 6th.

Delaware Tech has extended its spring break through March 22nd  to give faculty and staff a chance to prepare distance learning options. 

It has also cancelled community events on all of its campuses through March 31
