Rehoboth Art League features fine and craft arts in Outdoor Show

The Rehoboth Art League is showing visitors that exhibits don’t have to be inside. It’s 43rd annual Outdoor Show features 125 fine and craft artists on its 3.5 acre Sussex County campus.

“They work in various fine art and craft media. You know, painters, sculptors, craft persons, potters and many different types of fine art,” said RAL Artistic Director Jay Pastore.

Pastoreadds many artists display their work in large, white tents across the grounds. Others, he notes, pay homage to the league’s early shows by displaying their work in another way.

“When they started the event back in 1974, there was snow fence laid along the property. Artists displayed work hanging from the snow fence. And there are some artists who still display that way," Pastore said.

He says local, countrywide and international artists are represented in the juried event.

The exhibition this Saturday and Sunday at the Rehoboth Art League. It features painters, sculptors, potters and many different types of fine and craft art.
