No Powerball winner Wed. night; jackpot now at $750M

Delaware Public Media
The Powerball jackpot continues to climb, after no one won Wednesday night's $620 prize.

The huge MegaMillions jackpot is off the table, but Powerball’s top prize is still growing.

No one matched all six numbers in Powerball's Wednesday drawing to win the $620 million dollar prize that was up for grabs.

The winning numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing were 3, 21, 45, 53, 56. The Powerball was 22.

Because there was no winner, the estimated prize has surged to $750 million – the fourth-largest jackpot in U.S. history.

The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday.

Lottery officials say the Powerball jackpot has been climbing since August 11,when a man from Staten Island, New York, won $245.6 million.

Delaware’s last Powerball win came in December 2016 when a winning ticket worth nearly $122 million was sold at a Selbyville-area gas station.
