Advances in technology are often a boon to law enforcement, but they can also assist those looking to skirt the law – leaving law enforcement and the judiciary behind the curve, and in some cases unable to prosecute certain acts the law doesn’t yet address.

That’s the argument made by advocates hoping to outlaw the internet phenomenon known as “revenge porn,” which involves sharing sexually explicit material of someone – usually an ex - without their consent.

The fight is making its way to Delaware, with legislation waiting for action when lawmakers resume work March 18th.

Delaware Public Media’s political reporter James Dawson brings us more. (More)
