If you’re looking for a job, there’s a new statewide employment resource available.
The new resource is called Career Connection and is spearheaded by Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County.
Leah Coles is that group’s director of business and community development.
“Career Connection is an online platform available to job seekers throughout the State, or really anywhere, regardless to affiliation to Goodwill. Our aim is to help people to find jobs where they will thrive and have long-term stability and economic mobility,” Coles said.
Coles says Career Connection aims to take the stress out of typical job search tasks such as creating a resume and cover letter, interview preparation and salary negotiation by providing templates, assessments and workshops accessible at no cost, online, 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
She adds Career Connection has the potential to help job seekers of all levels.
“You can come to our website at GoodwillDE.org/CareerConnection and you can sign up for free there to the Career Connection platform. And there are a series of modules that you can move through at your own pace and there’s an option for the system to guide you through each module,” said Coles.
