Freeman Stage at Bayside announces Volume II concert lineup

The Freeman Stage at Bayside in Selbyville unveiled the second portion of its 2018 summer concert season Monday night.

This year’s slate of Freeman Stage concerts have now all been revealed.

The first set announced last month included Smokey Robinson on June 1 to kick off the season and the Whalers returning on June 15.

Freeman’s communications and public relations manager Alyson Cunningham says the additional headliners revealed Monday night help create what they feel is the biggest season yet at Freeman.

“And those artists include everybody from Alison Krauss on June 9, the Four Tops and the Temptations on July 2, country artist Lee Brice on July 5, Boyz II Men on July 12, Pat Benatar/ Neil Giraldo with Rick Springfield on July 23.”

Cunningham says other performers include, “Mary Chapin Carpenter on July 28, the Gin Blossoms on August 2, Michael Bolton on August 31, Phil Phillips and Gavin DeGraw on September 1 and the Gipsy Kings on September 16.”

This is the Freeman Stage’s 11th season.

The outdoor performing arts venue has attracted nearly 400,000 visitors since 2008 with a diverse offering of dance, theatre, live music and performances for kids.

Combined, 67 performers are coming to Selbyville this summer. You can see the entire lineup and schedule at the Freeman Stage website.

Tickets go on sale April 16.
