NASCAR is pulling into town early for its first visit of the year to the First State.
The spring race weekend at Dover International Speedway has moved up a month from early June to early May – and gets underway in earnest Friday.
There’s a full schedule on the Monster Mile.
Among the highlights is qualifying for Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup “AAA 400 Drive for Autism.” The battle for pole position in that race is set for 3:20 this afternoon.
And that’s followed by the first race of the tripleheader weekend -the Camping World Truck Series “JEGS 200”.
That race is scheduled to get the Green flag at 5 p.m.
