Lottery players in the First State and around the nation have a pair of major jackpots to play for this week.

The MegaMillions’ jackpot is approaching the top 10 all-time in the U.S.
It sits at $470 million for Tuesday’s drawing. That’s the 12th biggest ever and the largest MegaMillions prize since a winner in New Jersey took cashed in $533 million prize last March.
Another $282 million is for grabs in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing.
Delaware has never had a MegaMillions jackpot winner in that game’s 15-year history. The state’s last Powerball winner came in December 2016 when a winning ticket worth nearly $122 million was sold at a Selbyville gas station.
The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are one in over 302 million. The Powerball odds are about one in 292 million.
