Candidate Conversations 2020: Candidate for Governor Colin Bonini

James Dawson/Delaware Public Media

Candidate Conversations are part of Delaware Public Media’s 2020 Election coverage, and the Delaware Debates we are producing again this fall with the University of Delaware’s Center for Political Communication.

Among the races we are examining is the race for Governor– and in this interview, Republican Colin Bonini.

Bonini has served as a State Senator for his Dover area district since 1994.  He ran and lost to Gov. John Carney 4 years ago. He also ran for State Treasurer in 2010, losing to Democrat Chip Flowers.

His campaign website is here.

Delaware Public Media reached out to all candidates filed to run in the races for U.S. House and U.S. Senate, as well as Governor, Lt. Governor and Insurance Commissioner and invited them to sit down with us for a Candidate Conversation.

Candidates in each race are being asked about the same set of topics to allow you to get to know them and compare them.

In addition to airing on The Green, all interviews are available in their entirety at Delaware Public Media's website and the Delaware Debates website right through Election Day in November.
