The 2018 election cycle is now moving into full swing.
As part of our election coverage, Delaware Public Media is offering a series a Candidate Conversations - including in the race for U.S. Senate.
We’ve reached out to all candidates that have filed to run in the races for U.S. House and U.S. Senate, as well as the races for state Attorney General, State Auditor and State Treasurer and invited them to sit down with us. Candidates in each race are being asked the same set of questions to allow you to get to know then and compare them.
In the race for U.S Senate, incumbent Democrat Tom Carper faces a primary challenge from Progressive activist Kerri Harris. There's also a Republican primary pitting Sussex County Councilman Rob Artlett against former financial services executive Gene Truono. The race also feature Libertarian Nadine Frost and The Green Party's Demitri Theodoropoulos.
Candidate Conversations are part of Delaware Debates 2018, a collaboration between Delaware Public Media and the University of Delaware's Center for Political Communication.
