As part of our election coverage, Delaware Public Media is offering a series a Candidate Conversations - including in the race for U.S. House.
We’ve reached out to all candidates that have filed to run in the races for U.S. House and U.S. Senate, as well as the races for state Attorney General, State Auditor and State Treasurer and invited them to sit down with us. Candidates in each race are being asked the same set of questions to allow you to get to know then and compare them.
In the race for U.S House, incumbent Democrat Lisa Blunt Rochester is seeking a second term. There's also a Republican primary pitting Lee Murphy against Scott Walker.
Candidate Conversations are part of Delaware Debates 2018, a collaboration between Delaware Public Media and the University of Delaware's Center for Political Communication.
Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester currently holds Delaware's lone U.S. House seat. The Democratic incumbent won the seat two years ago, becoming the first women and first person of color to represent Delaware in Congress.

Lee Murphy is making his first run for statewide office, though he did previously run unsuccessfully for New Castle County Council in 1984 and State Senate in 2000 and 2002.
