UD professor reflects on Iowa Caucuses

The Iowa Caucus usually helps define the presidential race, but an issue with the app Iowa’s Democratic Party decided to use to report Monday’s results left everyone waiting to hear those results for days.   The delay meant Iowa got a bit lost amid President Trump’s State of The Union and the U.S. Senate’s impeachment vote acquitting Trump.

But Iowa still matters. And to help us sort through what happened and what it means we talked to University of Delaware Department of Political Science and International Relations chair David Redlawsk, who’s been in Iowa throughout the campaign there as part of his sabbatical.
