One contested race in Saturday's Milford City Council election

The slate is set for Saturday’s Milford City Council election.

 

Two candidates are vying for the Ward One seat while Wards Two, Three and Four are all uncontested.

Current Ward One Councilman Chris Mergner is not seeking re-election. Two people are running to fill the seat - former Mayor Daniel Marabellow and Samuel Passwaters, III.

Second Ward Councilman Todd Culotta,Third Ward Councilman Doug Morrowand 4th Ward newcomer Jason James, Sr. are the uncontested candidates - so no formal election will be held for those seats.

Questions about the election can be directed to the City Clerk’s Office at 422-1111.

Voting takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at City Hall.
