Thanksgiving Eve DUI checkpoints last week in each county resulted in six DUI arrests.
The Delaware Office of Highway Safety (OHS) coordinated the checkpoints with Delaware State Police (DSP) and local law enforcement.
OHS says 1,463 vehicles came through the checkpoints during the four hours they were in place.
Officers made an additional 58 traffic arrests, seven drug arrests and apprehended one wanted person.
OHS conducts its next Checkpoint Strikeforce effort December 14, 2019. Three DUI checkpoints will occur statewide, as well as DUI patrols, to deter individuals from driving while impaired.
