Wesley College and Delaware Valley duel again in NCAA playoffs

Wesley College faces a rematch in round two of the NCAA Division III football playoffs this weekend.

The Wolverines entertain Delaware Valley in Dover.

The two met back in September with Wesley earning a memorable 24-18 road victory in four overtimes.

Both teams are now 10-1 and entered the post-season ranked in the Division III Top 10.  Wesley is ranked 10th and DelVal is one spot higher at number 9.

The Wolverines beat Framingham State 58-21 in its opening round last week while Delaware Valley held off Bridgewater 30-22.

Kick-off Saturday is at noon at Drass Field

The winner faces the survivor of Saturday’s match-up between top-ranked Mount Union and 5th ranked North Central.
