Wesley College football readies for another NCAA Tournament run

Wesley College’s football team is headed NCAA Division III playoffs for a 13^th straight year.

The 9-1 Wolverines will entertain Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in a first round contest this Saturday.

Wesley is ranked 13^th in the nation and champion of the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Wolverines have won their last 12 opening round NCAA tourney contests and are 22-2 all-time at home in NCAA tourney games.

RPI is 8-2 and making its first in playoffs appearance in 10 years after winning the Liberty League title.

Saturday’s noon kick-off in Dover will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.
