Larson grabs the pole for Sunday's NASCAR "“AAA 400 Drive for Autism”

NASCAR’s spring race weekend in Dover is underway.

And Friday afternoon on Monster Mile, Kyle Larson took the pole in qualifying for Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup “AAA 400 Drive for Autism”

It’s his first pole of the year and first ever at Dover.

Kevin Harvick was second and will also start on the front row.

Points leader Kyle Bush was fourth and will be on row two.

In the first race of the tripleheader weekend, Johnny Sauter won Friday’s Camping World Truck Series “JEGS 200.”   It’s his second straight win at Dover and 19th career Truck Series victory.

And race officials have moved the start time for Saturday’s Xfinity series “OneMain Financial 200” up an hour to 1:30pm because eof the threat of inclement weather later in the day.
