DDOA announces FY 2018 arts grants

The Delaware Division of the Arts is investing $2,785,000 in arts and community funding for fiscal year 2018.

"We are proud to invest in arts education, arts and community development, and arts for underserved communities," DDOA Director Paul Weagraff said in a release.

More than $2.3 million goes to general operating support for 61 statewide arts organizations.

$187,000 is earmarked for community arts groups serving those with disabilities, at-risk students, cancer patients and their families, young children.

$134,000 will support statewide arts education.

$75,000 will go towards improving arts facilities statewide.
