David Brond

David Brond is Vice President/Director of Account Services for Aloysius Butler & Clark, a full-service marketing communications agency. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing and guiding client relationships and project management to develop, grow, and achieve effective outcomes for current clients, increase account service, public relations and social media capabilities and guide new business development activities.

David has more than 30 years of experience in communications, marketing and strategic planning leadership positions in both higher education and healthcare. Before joining AB&C, he was vice president for strategic communications and external relations at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prior to that he served as vice president for communications and marketing at Augusta University (formerly Georgia Regents University and Georgia Regents Health System) and a professor of business in the Hull College of Business at Georgia Regents University. His previous appointments include serving as vice president for communications and marketing at the University of Delaware, and as vice president for marketing and strategic planning at the University of Maryland Medical System.

David is a resident of Middletown and currently serves as Vice President of Marketing on the Executive Board of the Del-Mar-Va Council of the Boy Scouts of America and serves on the boards of Teach For America Delaware, United Way of Delaware and the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce. He earned an MBA and MHA from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University.
